Al Ahly have appointed Danish coach Jess Thorup on a two-and-a-half-year deal, the Egyptian champions announced on Wednesday.
Thorup, 55, was most recently in charge of FC Augsburg from October 2023 until 23 May 2025, and has prior managerial stints in his homeland and in Belgium.
