Al Masry’s poor run of form continued as they were held to a 1-1 draw by National Bank at Cairo International Stadium in the Egyptian Premier League.
The result extended Al Masry’s winless league run to six matches.
Salah Mohsen put Al Masry ahead from the spot just before the break after Karim El Eraki was brought down by Ahmed Meteb inside the area.
Mohsen had also scored penalties in their previous two matches, both of which ended in 1-1 draws.
Less than five minutes after the restart, National Bank were awarded a penalty when the ball struck Abdellah Ziani’s hand as Salah Bouchama attempted to control Meteb’s cross.
Ahmed Rayyan made no mistake from the spot to bring his side level.
The draw extended National Bank’s unbeaten run to three matches. With just one defeat in their past six games, they remain in the top half of the table on 11 points, two adrift of the top six.
Al Masry, meanwhile, moved up to 11th on nine points.
